Laboris Advisory

A boutique founded by Sabrina Selmi.

Sabrina Selmi, founder of Laboris Advisory

Laboris was born from the meeting of professional perspectives that often work separately: employment law, HR management, organisation and people development.

The founder’s experience in consulting and inside organisations led to an integrated model able to understand different professional languages and connect them in one vision.

Throughout my career, attention to the client has always been a fixed point. For me it means listening, going into things properly and taking responsibility for the quality of the work. I chose to found Laboris Advisory to give shape to this way of advising: looking after every client with care, without losing sight of the wider picture of their needs. It is the criterion that guides my choices, including how the practice develops.

Sabrina Selmi

Founder

Different experiences, a broader view.

Her career began with legal studies and qualification as an Italian employment and payroll consultant (Consulente del Lavoro). For a number of years she practised within different consulting firms, supporting companies in the management of employment and people.

The experience she subsequently gained inside companies allowed her to broaden her expertise and to understand their dynamics, priorities and language at first hand. A perspective that has enriched the way she advises and supports clients.

To this foundation she has added expertise in coaching and in the development of talent and organisations, building an approach that brings together the technical, organisational and human aspects of work.

Care for the client, in practice.

Your business, understood in detail

Conversations with decision-makers and those working on the processes establish the business’s priorities and constraints. That understanding develops as the work continues.

Answers you can act on

Answers set out the options, their implications and, where relevant, the costs. The next steps are made clear.

When to expect a response

Communication channels, response times and arrangements for urgent matters are agreed. If a question needs further investigation, the client knows when to expect an update.

Proposals that fit the situation

Regular discussions are an opportunity to raise matters that deserve attention and suggest work relevant to the business’s situation.

Open matters stay on the agenda

Each activity has an owner. Hand-offs are coordinated and unresolved matters remain under review until they are closed.

A straightforward working relationship

Data and document exchanges are organised, and activities and fees are explicit. Any additional work is agreed before proceeding.

Professional collaborations
